Welcome to Spiritual England

While we're based in the UK, this is not a strictly UK spiritual forum and we welcome everyone wherever you are in the world!
Hello
My name is Steve I've been married to my wife for 29 years we have identical twin sons of 27, they are both on the autism spectrum which has it's challenges at times.
Spiritually I suppose I've been looking for something that I can't seem to find for the last thirty years. I was educated in Christian schools but the man with the white beard never cut it with me.
I've tried Paganism even cast a few circles, then more recently Buddhism. I read a lot of spiritual books mainly all the well known authors.
I believe there is much more to our existence than we can see and feel and I certainly believe in the after life, but just want some answers, probably the same answers most open minded people ask.
Hi Julia, thanks for all the amazing art on Spiritual England. I believe we all have contradicting beliefs, but the key is being aware and open to shining a light upon them.

Hi everyone! I'm Julia - the artist behind the scenes of Spiritual England. Not always, actually - this great banner is Adam's work! :D I'm a Keynote Artist by day - I join events and illustrate the key ideas. I'm also a bit of a nomad these days - I travel around and do house-sitting, currently across England. In my free time... I love exploring, walking, swing-dancing, and playing boardgames (and other silly improv games) I was raised Catholic, but I have a more unique & personal approach to Spirituality these days.
I believe in God/Universe, and I know I have great guardian angels.
I'm very aligned with the teachings of Buddhism - have been lucky enough to live in a monastery for 10 months!
I'd like to believe in reincarnation, but if I'm being honest, I believe in an afterlife - looking forward to seeing my grandparents again! :D
I try to meditate regularly, but I experience the greatest connection when I'm alone in nature and I get to talk out loud
So yes, some contradicting beliefs there, that I'll be straightening out for the rest of my life :)
